About Us

In 2017, in a small town Keynsham (between Bath and Bristol, Somerset), Alexandra started Initial Design Crafts. With a background as a Mechanical Engineer and years of creative hobbies, this knowledge was the start of this new venture.

After slowly taking over the whole house, we finally have a small dedicated workshop. Since starting with Crochet letter cushions, we now offer lots of different products and gifts.

Sorry... almost forgot the most important member of The Joyful Rebel team our resident cat 'Batfink', although the hardest decision he has to make is where to sleep.
